    Hen and chicks poppy sounds interesting! Someone recently commented on my blog that ‘hen and chicks’ is the colloquial name given to sempervivum in the States, so I wonder what these poppies will be like!

  4. This year, we’re attempting to grow chard, courgettes, cucumbers, lettuce, sorrel, spinach, mooli radish, peas and broadbeans plus poppies and forget-me-nots all from seed.

    1. Yes, I love growing veggies so much, I usually forget to include flowers too…LOL.

  6. We’re planting a laundry list of vegetables. Lots of the usual suspects: carrots, peas, cucumbers, peppers, potato, onion, a host of lettuces, strawberries, and I forget what else. We’ll see how well it does…

  8. Oh my goodness! I did get a start yesterday, and put my list there. I’m very much not the planner, however – I just grabbed what was close to hand!
