Hello everyone, I hope all is going well in your gardens. This area has experienced unseasonably mild weather over the past week. The highs, mid 70’s and the lows, late 40’s. Thank goodness for frost protectors because my warm weather veggies need all the heat they can get!
I was doing a little weeding yesterday in my yard, and near a fence that borders a property up for sale I noticed this little beauty: a wild, strawberry! I am so excited because I have always wanted to try them (on my culinary bucket list). The plant has spread into my garden and this berry is in my yard, so I won’t feel too bad when I devour it!
We have these little jewels growing under the deck, but I’ve never ate one before. To be honest I didn’t know they were edible!
